The Only Two Mascaras I Buy Now

In regards to makeup, one of the things that make me feel most incomplete is not applying mascara. As someone who probably has the shortest lashes in the world, I need something that brings my eyes to life. Mascara always does that for me. Over the years, I've splurged on so many different mascaras to see how they could transform my eyes and I keep running back to the same two. Here are my favorite mascaras and the only two I buy now.

1. Too Faced Better Than Sex ($26.00)

This cult favorite mascara is sold every 7.5 seconds and as a Better Than Sex stan, I can assent as to why. This mascara truly does lengthen and volumize my lashes without even having to use a primer. My lashes become more dramatic and darker with each coat (usually only two) as well as lift them. The mascara also includes peptides that help to condition the lashes and Acacia tree extracts that lock the mascara onto the lashes helping to keep that volume all day. I personally love the look of clumpy and thick lashes and this does just that. I do find that it is a bit pricey but until I find something just as good for less, I'll probably continue to buy this one.

2. Lancome Hypnose Drama ($28.00)

A few years ago my mom introduced me to this mascara and I never looked back. I've probably repurchased this one the most out of the many I've had in my collection. This is the only mascara I brought with me to college and layering this gem was a daily part of my morning routine. The unique curve on the application brush really does do something magical, it not only thickens and lifts my lashes but it does not flake! This is one of the only mascaras I've found that does not do that. I would apply this mascara at 9 am in the morning and it would still look freshly applied when I got home at 8 pm. The pigments in this are intense and give your lashes a dark wispy look just as false lashes would. The brush makes it easy to separate the lashes and evenly coats them. This is another one that is also pricey but I am willing to splurge because of how well it performs.
