One of my favorite skin treats is face masks, I splurge on them! I mask about 3 times a week and it is definitely one of my favorite self care moments. Here are my favorite masks (so far).

My Skin Type: Normal to Dry

  1. Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay ($28.00)

By far one of the best masks I've ever used! I can't even recall how many times I've repurchased this gem. I stumbled across this at a Sephora years ago early on in my skincare journey and it's honestly one of my finest blind buys ever. This mask really does work like a dream, it helps clear acne overnight, clean out pores, and also exfoliates. It has a light rose scent and this cooling tingly feeling that I love. I let it sit and harden for about 15 minutes before I rinse it off and as you rub the product away you can feel it gently exfoliating your skin. The key ingredient in this product is Willowherb, known to help reduce inflammation and calm down the skin. My face has a beautiful, polished glow afterward and I just can't get enough of this mask!

2. Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque ($38.00)

This mask does as it says, it really does do a great job at cleaning out and minimizing pores. Although it is a clay mask, it doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable on the skin but you will need to follow up with a good moisturizer. You see immediate results with this mask as it lifts blackheads and minimizes acne. It is formulated with Amazonian clay which helps to detox the skin from toxins and dirt. Another key ingredient in this is Aloe which is widely known for soothing and healing skin. A little goes a long way with this product, a finger amount should be enough to cover the entire face. It has a clean and earthy scent which I also really enjoy.

3. Pixi Glow Mud Mask ($22.00)

This is the first product I tried from the Pixi skincare line and definitely is my fav. This mask is the thinnest in texture out of all mentioned in this post. It's purifying and helps to reveal a beautiful glow even days after application. It fights breakouts and brightens your complexion in just 15 minutes. Its main ingredients Kaolin clay, which deep cleanses and purifies. It also has Sea Salt, known to be a rich detoxifier that almost immediately clarifies the skin. Some days I use it as a spot treatment for overnight results.

4. e.l.f. Detoxifying Bubble Mask ($3.99)

This charcoal-infused mask literally starts working instantly. This sheet mask detoxifies and treats, making your skin feel smooth and super clean. When exposed to air it begins to bubble (a lot) working to draw out dirt and impurities. It's by far the best sheet mask I've tried. It's really good for acne-prone and congested skin or when you simply want to give your face a really good deep cleaning. The best part is that it's under 5 dollars, I buy these in threes!
